There are about 19 well defined Indian breeds along with  a number of local breeds. The breeds are mostly categorized based on the location they are found. At Maple goat farm we have a variety of breeds available.Some of the Popular Breeds are Sirohi, Sojat, Barbari, Boer,Black bengal, Saanen. Some of these breeds have been imported from other countries and cross-bred with Indian goat breeds to produce high quality goats.
